New Discovery Could Help Patients Who Need Treatment

"P27" is abundant in normal prostate S; it acts as a tumor suppresser stopping cancerous cells from growing.

Prostrate cancer affects the level of "P27"--some cancers have near normal levels of the protein while others have low and sometimes undetectable levels.

This discovery could help patients who need aggressive treatment for prostate cancer, get that treatment as early as possible
